(1/14/09) Third time in more than 30 years Christendom has received the honor
The entire student body and many faculty members from Christendom College will lead the March for Life on January 22, 2009 by carrying the title banner. This is the third year since the inception of the March that Christendom has been asked to lead. For more than 30 years the college has canceled classes for the March to ensure that every student can participate. Christendom College received high praise for its strong Catholic identity in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College, which stated: “While some colleges in this Guide may match its Catholic commitment, it is unlikely that any exceeds it.” Source: Christendom College
