Fifty-one members of the 111th Congress, comprising 9 percent, were educated at Jesuit institutions of higher education. Of these, 31 Jesuit educated congressmen have received a positive rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America. Eighteen Georgetown University alumni are congressmen, a number far higher than any other Catholic college or university.
