Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, NH, has made public the Faith and Reason Scholarship Fund, grounded in a theme from Pope Benedict XVI’s 2006 Regensburg Address. “The courage to engage the whole breadth of reason . . . this is the program with which a theology grounded in Biblical faith enters into the debates of our time,” the Holy Father said. Students will be eligible to receive the scholarship beginning in Fall 2009. “The Fund includes a first place scholarship of $30,000, two second place scholarships of $20,000 each, and five third place scholarships of $10,000 each. Candidates for these funds are determined through an essay contest open to all applicants for freshman admission to Thomas More College.” More information can be found online at www.ThomasMoreCollege.edu.
