On Saturday, February 28, students from four Catholic colleges and universities joined in the first annual Pennsylvania Students for Life of America conference at Penn State. The goal of the state-wide meeting is to gather together as many Pennsylvania campus pro-life groups as possible “to act as a support system and resource for one another.” Seminar topics at the event included defunding Planned Parenthood and the ramifications of the Freedom of Choice Act on America. “Now if we ever need help coordinating a pro-life event, we have many references and outreach sources, which is wonderful,” said the student coordinator of the event. The Catholic institutions of higher education participating were: Villanova University, Gwynedd-Mercy College, DeSales University, and University of Scranton. Source: The Daily Collegian
