Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, has formed a partnership with The Royal Horseshoe Farm, a local horse farm. Students can now take riding lessons from certified instructors and scenic trail rides at discounted rates. The Fall Program includes riding in September, October and November and the Spring Program is in February, March and April. The Royal Horseshoe Farm teaches English riding, Western riding and some side saddle. Christendom students have the option to study riding at both intense and casual paces. Christendom is featured in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College for its strong Catholic identity. Now a free online resource, the 2nd edition of The Newman Guide will be published in September 2009. Source: Christendom College
