(10/2/09) Men from BC's adoration group, the St. Thomas More Society, served at the altar for the liturgy.
At Boston College on September 29th, the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, the first Mass in the Extraordinary Form (EF), most likely since the reform of the liturgy in 1969, was celebrated by Fr. Augustin Anda of the Boston Archdiocese. Men from Boston College’s adoration group, the St. Thomas More Society, served at the altar for the liturgy. The “Schola Amicorum,” which also sings at other local Boston EF Masses, provided chant. Between 25 and 30 people prayed at the Mass, a majority of them Boston College students. The group of students aspire in the future to have such EF Masses offered monthly, as well as a monthly Mass in the Ordinary Form employing Latin and ad orientem. Source: The New Liturgical Movement
