The University of Dallas School of Ministry, together with the dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth, produced and sponsored the 2009 University of Dallas Ministry Conference at the end of October. The title of the conference was “Walking Together in Faith!” It gathered more than 4,600 participants to “explore contemporary issues in Catholic ministry and leadership.” Nearly 2,000 Catholic teachers participated in events featuring 60 exhibitors and 56 speakers. The keynote address was delivered by Archbishop Donald Wuerl of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.
