“So often medicine gets moved back to just the technical aspects of it,” said Deacon Kevin Tulipana, D.O., associate dean for clinical education at the proposed School of Osteopathic Medicine at Benedictine College. “We are really taking a unique approach in that, yes, people need to technically proficient and understand medicine at its deepest level, but with that…We are developing a philosophy to medical education that incorporates Catholic anthropology and the understanding of Catholic bioethics… the medical school will be 100 percent pro-life.” Deacon Tulipana joined Kelly Salomon and guest host Vanessa Denha-Garmo to discuss a new milestone in the proposed School of Osteopathic Medicine.
