Mission
The National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools (NAPCIS) supports and accredits K-12 schools faithful to the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
New schools can apply immediately for NAPCIS Pre-accredited membership while they strengthen and solidify their internal operations and program. In year three (3), the school can apply for Candidate status and begin the self-study process to have their formal Accreditation visit in year four (4). Schools working toward full accreditation will also become Newman Guide Recommended Schools!

NAPCIS provides faithful, mission-centered, clear, user-friendly, valid, efficient, and affordable accreditation for schools focused on academic excellence and the salvation of souls through Jesus Christ. It encourages, protects, and validates all types of schools, including Catholic parochial schools, while preserving its historical commitment to small, independent lay-run schools.
