‘OUTober’ is a Jesuit scandal

I don’t like painting Jesuits with a broad brush (there are some amazing Jesuit priests!), but what is up with Jesuit higher education? Students at Fordham, Georgetown, Gonzaga. Loyola Chicago, Loyola Marymount, Marquette, and the University of San Francisco are celebrating “OUTober,” flaunting sexual attitudes that are disordered, often immoral, and scandalous to students drawn into perverted thoughts and activities. (Here’s a link to Georgetown’s agenda.) This isn’t Catholic education. It’s corruption. It ought to stop, but we can at least be grateful for the Newman Guide Recommended colleges that form students with a true understanding of the dignity of the human person, the meaning of the body, the gift of sexuality, the call to virtue, and the path to holiness.
