About Rev. Msgr. Stuart Swetland
Monsignor Swetland is Vice President for Catholic Identity and Mission at Mount St. Mary’s University and Director of Homiletics and Pre-Theology at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. He holds the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Endowed Chair for Christian Ethics. A Rhodes Scholar and recipient of a S.T.D. from the Pontifical Lateran University, he is a former director of the Newman Centers at Bradley University and the University of Illinois. He currently serves as executive secretary of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars. Msgr. Swetland is also a member of the advisory board of The Center for the Study of Catholic Higher Education.
